1. Purchase
Buy a product or bundle at reaperbots.com through Stripe Checkout. You'll get a license-key email immediately after payment clears.
2. Install
- Download ReaperBotsSetup.exe from your license email or the /download page.
- Run the installer and follow the Setup Wizard.
- Launch ReaperBots Command Center.
3. Activate your license
- In Command Center, click Activate.
- Enter the email used at checkout and your license key exactly as emailed.
- Click Activate / Refresh — the dashboard shows ACTIVE and unlocks the modules included in your purchase. Modules you don't own stay visible but locked.
4. Configure your credentials
Open Settings and enter the credentials for the markets you're trading: Alpaca API key + secret (Stock, Crypto, Options bots) and/or your Kalshi email plus API key/private key path (the three Kalshi bots).
5. Run a Readiness Check
Before starting any bot, run the built-in Readiness Check to confirm your license, credentials, and configuration are all valid.
6. Start in paper trading mode
Every bot ships with Paper Trading ON by default. Run a backtest or the dashboard first, then start one bot at a time and watch its logs before considering live trading.
7. Switch to live trading (optional)
When you're ready, turn Paper Trading off for a specific bot — a deliberate, per-bot setting. That bot will then place real orders using real funds through your own Alpaca or Kalshi account. Before doing this, confirm your license is active, your credentials have appropriate permissions, your daily loss limit and position sizing are set the way you want, and your paper-mode logs look reasonable. See the Trading Risk Disclosure for full detail.

- A bot is locked — activate the product or bundle license that includes that module.
- No log output — launch the module once, then click Logs.
